HOW DO 365SMARTREPAIR REPAIR MY ALLOY WHEELS?

Our experienced technicians follow industry standards and best practices at every stage of the alloy wheel repair process. Typically, the wheel is removed from the vehicle, and the damaged area is prepared, sanded, and primed with a special-purpose coating. We then apply paint and a protective lacquer, using our mobile equipment to achieve a flawless finish.

Standard alloy repairs generally take around one hour per wheel and are carried out at a time and place that suits you. Our technicians only require a safe work area to complete the job.

What is included in an alloy wheel repair?

Wish your alloy wheels looked as good as they did when you first got them?

Once your booking is confirmed, our repair technician will visit you in one of our specially equipped vans to deliver high-quality mobile wheel repair services at a fraction of the cost of a traditional body shop.

A repair includes:

• Full alloy inspection
• Alloy repair
• Alloy lacquer finish
• Tyre care
• 12-month warranty

Our technicians can handle all types of damage, including alloy scuffs, scratches, kerbing, and scrapes on rims and spokes as part of our standard repair process. Scuffed or kerbed alloy wheels are among the most frequent types of vehicle damage. If left unrepaired, these issues can reduce your car’s appearance and value and lead to corrosion over time.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY OF REPAIR?

Once your repair date and time are confirmed, the technician will arrive at the specified address in one of our repair vans.

The process begins with the technician removing the wheel from the vehicle and cleaning both the inner drum area of the alloy and the front surface of the wheel to remove any debris. The wheel is then carefully inspected for any buckles or split rims. Once the wheel has been fully inspected and cleaned, the tyre is de-beaded from the rim to provide full access to the rim edge for repairs. The damaged wheel is then repaired and resprayed in our spray booth. After the respray, the wheel is lacquered, dried, and re-fitted to the vehicle.
